Within the age of the internet, various havens have been created for people to explore, share, and interact online. YouTube has become a place to share stories, Instagram a place to spread art and videos, and Tumblr a place to explore all sorts of media.
Through my own desire for a specific kind of experience, I came up with the prototype for "Fan Hive" - which aims to be a place for creators and consumers alike to come together and enjoy fan-related content in a safe, easy to use, environment.
A fandom is a community - a collective of people who gather around a fixation to create or enjoy content based upon it.
And a hive? A place buzzing with activity!
With those things in mind I've created the prototype for Fan Hive
In the initial Prototype, I focused on figuring out all the main elements of the app that would be included. Through User Scenarios (as seen above) and crowdsourcing (See this video), I was able to come up with the key features and elements and used them in the high-fi Prototype.
The Final Prototype/proof of concept via Figma is supposed to simulate almost the entire experience of how the app would be used by the target audience user.
Click the phone screen to start the interaction, and I hope you enjoy!
*All assets in the app are works of my own, including the art and stories.
